By accessing and using Nearly Wild Camping's services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Membership

Nearly Wild Camping offers annual memberships for £24 per year. Membership benefits include:

• Access to our directory of verified camping locations
• Permission to camp at listed locations
• Member-only resources and guides
• Community forum access

Memberships are non-transferable and for personal use only.

3. Camping Responsibilities

As a member, you agree to:

• Follow Leave No Trace principles at all times
• Respect landowner property and guidelines
• Camp only at designated locations listed in the directory
• Adhere to maximum stay limits and capacity restrictions
• Report any issues or damage immediately
• Behave responsibly and considerately towards other campers and the environment

4. Code of Conduct

Members must:

• Not share location details with non-members
• Not engage in commercial activities without prior approval
• Not cause damage to property or the environment
• Not disturb wildlife or other campers
• Remove all waste and leave sites as found

Violation of this code may result in membership termination without refund.

5. Liability and Risk

Camping involves inherent risks. By using our services, you acknowledge that:

• You camp entirely at your own risk
• Nearly Wild Camping is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage incurred while camping
• You are responsible for your own safety and wellbeing
• You should have appropriate insurance coverage
• Location information is provided as-is without warranties

6. Payment and Refunds

Membership fees are charged annually. We reserve the right to change pricing with notice to members before renewal.

If you are a new member, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the day of your first payment, in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Within this period you can cancel your membership from your account page and receive a full refund of that payment. After 14 days, membership fees are non-refundable except as required by law; refund requests outside the cooling-off period are considered at our discretion via the contact form.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and in our directory, including text, images, and location data, is the property of Nearly Wild Camping and protected by copyright law. Members may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit this content.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your membership at any time for violation of these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, you must immediately cease using our services.

9. Changes to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
